Higgsfield, a company specializing in AI-powered video generation, raised $400 million in its latest funding round. The investment was led by DST Global, Goldman Sachs, Liberty Global, and Intel, valuing the company at $5.4 billion. Alex Mashrabov, former Snapchat executive, founded the company and continues to lead its growth. Since its launch in 2025, the platform has experienced significant growth. Annual revenue reached $700 million by August 2026, up substantially from $20 million a year earlier. The platform now serves over 30 million users across 238 countries and territories, with the United States as its primary market. A previous funding round, completed eight months earlier, had raised $80 million at a valuation of $1.3 billion. Growth in enterprise customer revenue has been particularly notable: in January 2026, this segment represented less than 25% of total revenue; it now constitutes the majority of earnings. The platform operates at the intersection of content creators, digital marketing, and the creator economy. Companies like Dollar Shave Club use Higgsfield to produce multiple videos daily, contrasting with the previous model of one video per campaign. This approach reduces traditional marketing costs and enables large-scale production with increased frequency. Mashrabov stated that the new investment will accelerate expansion into the premium corporate segment and ensure adequate access to computational resources, which remain scarce in the current market. The round also included participation from Tribe Capital, Smash Capital, Fifth Wall, Valor Capital, Liberty Global Tech Ventures, Mirae Asset Capital, and NTT DOCOMO Ventures. Goldman Sachs participated specifically through its Equity Growth fund.
