Alibaba Tests Multi-Agent AI Collaboration Platform

Alibaba Cloud is conducting internal tests of a platform enabling collaboration between humans and multiple AI assistants for complex projects. The system coordinates digital agents to execute interconnected tasks within a single project scope. It distinguishes itself from the company's existing office automation product by focusing on multi-agent coordination scenarios, whereas the latter concentrates on document processing and workflow automation. Testing indicates applicability across enterprises, freelancers, and small business segments. All features are currently available at no cost, with future monetization planned based on task volume and resource consumption. The initiative represents part of Alibaba's broader productivity AI strategy, complementing the recently launched Qwen Office platform.
