AMD reports record growth driven by strong demand for AI processors
AMD's Instinct MI400 AI processor and sixth-generation EPYC servers drove robust growth for the chipmaker in the second quarter of 2026. Total revenue reached $115.36 billion, growing 50% compared to the prior year, while net income attributable to shareholders reached $22.97 billion, a 163% increase. Gross margin expanded to 54%, surpassing 40% from a year earlier. The data center segment led growth with $67.18 billion in revenue, a jump of 107%.
