ByteDance and the Motion Picture Association (MPA) have established a partnership aimed at strengthening copyright protection measures for artificial intelligence models used in video and image generation. The agreement covers Seedance, a video synthesis model, and Seedream, an image generation model, both integrated into platforms such as TikTok, CapCut, and Dreamina. According to statements from both organizations, the new versions of these models incorporate advanced intellectual property protection mechanisms. The parties reaffirmed their commitment to continuing to enhance copyright safeguards as AI technology evolves.
