The launch meeting for the national standards series 'Humanoid Robot Test Methods' was held in Wuhan, with seven standards covering general principles, environmental sensing, decision planning, and motion control simultaneously commencing development. The meeting was attended by over 200 industry representatives from leading companies including Unitree Robotics, Xiaomi Robotics, Forbidden Atoms, ZTE, Yunshens Robotics, Horizon Robotics, Agile Hands, and Galaxy General, along with prominent academic institutions. The Standardization Committee for Humanoid Robots and Embodied AI was also established under Hubei's Robotics Standardization Technical Committee, with 29 member organizations including Wuhan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and specialized research institutes. According to experts, these testing standards will function as nationally recognized 'examination outlines', allowing different companies to operate with uniform criteria and enabling scalable replication. The industry signals that standardization is essential before the sector can expand significantly.
