Co-Scientist identifies promising liver fibrosis treatments

Google DeepMind's multi-agent Co-Scientist system accelerated research into liver fibrosis treatments at Stanford. The tool highlighted previously overlooked drug-repurposing candidates, including one that successfully blocked 91 percent of scarring-related cellular responses in laboratory tests. Results published in Advanced Science point toward new gene-regulating approaches to treat chronic liver disease.
