Corma Labs Raises 60 Million Dollars for Defensive AI Cybersecurity Foundation Model
Defensive cybersecurity startup Corma Labs announced 60 million dollars in seed funding to build a foundation model purpose-built for security defense. Founded in 2025 with offices in Tel Aviv and San Francisco, Corma identified a growing gap: frontier models excelled at code reasoning, transferring those gains to attackers conducting vulnerability research and exploit development. In simulations of Fortune 500 networks, leading models from OpenAI and Anthropic acting as attackers succeeded 88% of the time, while defenders caught only 12%. Corma develops specialized security agents to detect and respond to threats.
