Firebird Inaugurates Largest CIS AI Factory with NVIDIA Investment
Cloud computing platform Firebird announced the inauguration of the largest artificial intelligence factory in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), located in Hrazdan, Armenia. The infrastructure was built in less than six months and uses NVIDIA GPUs with the DSX platform, supplemented by Dell servers, Schneider Electric power infrastructure, and Vertiv cooling systems. Perplexity AI is among the initial clients. Firebird plans to expand its capacity to 300 megawatts of AI infrastructure in Armenia by the end of 2027, which would equate to over 70,000 GPUs of the "Rubin" and "Blackwell" types. The company has also secured 125 megawatts of capacity in Kazakhstan and has a global objective to build 2 gigawatts of computational capacity over the next two years.
