Freehand raises $75 million in Series B funding round
AI startup Freehand secured $75 million in Series B financing to scale autonomous AI agents that automate complex supply chain and back-office operations for enterprises. The round was co-led by Battery Ventures and NewRoad Capital Partners, with participation from Nexus Venture Partners and former U.S. Commerce Secretary Penny Pritzker. With this investment, Freehand has reached a total of $100 million raised since its February 2024 founding. The company was established by Nitin Jayakrishnan and Abhijeet Manohar, logistics veterans who previously built and sold Pando, a transportation management and procure-to-pay platform for enterprise logistics.
