Google has updated its AI tools to let users toggle off visible watermarks from content generated with Gemini and Flow. The sparkle watermark that appears in the bottom-right corner of images, videos, and music created with its Nano Banana and Omni models can now be disabled. However, invisible watermarks remain mandatory: SynthID watermarks and C2PA metadata are automatically embedded in all AI-generated content to preserve traceability and address authenticity concerns.
