Groq Pivots to Neocloud With NVIDIA Support
Groq advances its transformation from AI chip manufacturer to cloud infrastructure provider. The shift follows a 20 billion dollar technology licensing agreement with NVIDIA, signed in December, which authorizes the company to provide inference acceleration through its LPU processors.
Designated as NVIDIA's cloud partner in August, Groq offers training and inference services running on NVIDIA accelerated computing clusters, planning to expand its capacity from 54 megawatts to over 200 megawatts by 2027.
