Haier Opens First AI Home Robot Flagship Store in Qingdao

Haier inaugurated its first experience store for AI home robots in Qingdao's Laoshan district. The store allows users to try the company's products firsthand, including the W3 robotic exoskeleton, with gait detection and personalized adjustment. Beyond the exoskeleton, the venue offers immersive experience with robots for tasks such as cooking, household cleaning, and companionship. The company already operates more than 10 similar experience stores nationwide. The W3, introduced in May, is described as the world's lightest AI exoskeleton, featuring carbon fiber and titanium design weighing just 1.75 kg. The device can intelligently adapt to 12 different movement and terrain scenarios, providing assistance of up to 16 N·m per leg, reducing user energy consumption by up to 37%.
