Manus becomes independent company following separation from Meta

Manus, which was previously acquired by Meta, announced its separation and return to independent company status. As part of the process, some users will have their data affected to comply with regulatory requirements in certain jurisdictions. User data generated after December 29, 2025 will be deleted between August 23-24, 2026. The company is offering affected users a window to back up their data before deletion and restore it afterward. After becoming independent, Manus will store data in the United States and Singapore and will provide rewards for users reconnecting to the platform.
