Menlo Ventures Announces $3 Billion in New AI Funds

Menlo Ventures unveiled $3 billion in new capital across two funds, marking its largest raise in 50 years. Menlo Ventures XVII will focus on seed and Series A AI companies, while Menlo Inflection IV will provide growth capital for Series B and beyond. The funds target the entire AI market—from foundational models and infrastructure to enterprise, healthcare, and consumer applications. Among Menlo's notable AI portfolio companies are Anthropic, Suno, OpenRouter, Lovable, and Wispr. The expanded capital allows Menlo to support founders from early stages through hypergrowth, a strategy previously demonstrated with Anthropic and other portfolio standouts.
