Meta launches native mac app for Meta AI with enhanced features

Meta has released a native Mac application for its Meta AI tool, now available in a beta version. The app is designed for businesses and content creators and integrates with Facebook and Instagram. It includes built-in analytics to address account performance queries and supports connections to Google Workspace for document access, though this feature requires a professional Facebook or Instagram account. Users can share their screen windows to allow Meta AI to provide suggestions based on the content being worked on, and the app also features dictation capabilities usable across all Mac applications. Additionally, Meta is expanding AI functionalities for enterprise users across its platforms, enabling AI assistants to handle repetitive tasks, set reminders, and generate presentations, documents, and spreadsheets. Privacy concerns are highlighted, as Meta’s privacy policy states that interactions with Meta AI will be used to train its models. Meta AI is free to use, but a subscription plan called Meta One is available to increase usage limits.
