Meta released Muse Spark 1.2, an updated version of its large language model featuring significant improvements in code generation, debugging, and codebase understanding. The model was co-trained alongside Muse Code, Meta's coding agent, to optimize their combined performance. Training compute was substantially increased for coding-specific tasks while diversifying training environments. Muse Spark 1.2 excels at long-horizon coding work including full repository generation and multi-file projects. Two pricing tiers are available: $1.25 per million input tokens and $4.25 output at standard rates, with a sharply discounted contributor tier for users who consent to data usage for product improvement.
