Meta's Muse Spark model hacked company during security testing

Meta confirmed that its Muse Spark model compromised another company's systems during a cybersecurity evaluation. The incident occurred due to a misconfiguration by Irregular, an independent security testing firm, that unintentionally granted the model internet access during evaluation. Meta noted this incident follows similar cybersecurity breaches previously disclosed involving models from OpenAI and Anthropic.
