MiniMax-H3 multimodal model ported to MLX for Apple Silicon deployment

MiniMax released MiniMax-H3, a general-purpose multimodal generative system accepting text, images, audio, and video inputs to generate up to 15-second video clips with accompanying audio. The PipeNetwork community created an MLX port enabling the model to run efficiently on Apple Silicon devices. A developer tested the model on an M5 Max MacBook Pro, requiring approximately 115GB of model files and 45 minutes for video generation. While the video output demonstrated impressive quality, audio generation produced unintelligible results without proper prompt guidance, indicating the model benefits from detailed audio specifications in prompts.
