Mobileye Acquires MenteeBot to Strengthen Humanoid Robotics Capabilities

Mobileye announced the acquisition of MenteeBot, a company focused on developing humanoid robots capable of learning from human demonstrations. Founded four years ago by Lior Wolf and co-founders Shai Shwartz and another partner, MenteeBot created an innovative approach to Physical AI centered on a Real2Sim2Real pipeline that enables robots to generalize from human instructions. The acquisition merges Mobileye's autonomous driving expertise with MenteeBot's humanoid technology, creating a vertically integrated solution spanning applications from driver assistance systems and robotaxis to warehouse, retail, and assembly robots, with potential future household applications.
