OpenAI acquires presentation software startup NextSlide

NextSlide, a startup focused on AI-powered presentation software, has joined OpenAI. The team will now work on integrating the product's capabilities into ChatGPT. NextSlide's technology transforms prompts, notes, documents, or research into polished, editable presentations. Founder Ahmed Beshry, who previously co-founded Caper AI before its acquisition by Instacart in 2021, described the move as continuing the mission to make visual communication more accessible through AI-powered tools. The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, though the deal reportedly completed earlier in the year.
