OpenAI Discontinues ChatGPT Atlas Browser

Users will experience data loss, as stored content cannot be automatically synced to the web version of ChatGPT. The company instructs users to manually export bookmarks and browsing history in HTML format before the deadline, though session credentials cannot be transferred, requiring re-authentication in alternative browsers. OpenAI advises users to abandon the application due to security risks posed by discontinued software. As alternatives, the company provides a Chrome extension and offers a native desktop version of ChatGPT.
