Qualys Redefines Cyber Risk Management with AI-Speed Detection and Autonomous Remediation

Qualys presented a three-pillar approach to accelerate the response to security vulnerabilities: AI-speed detection with agentless scanning, hyperprioritization through exploit validation, and autonomous zero-day remediation. The company launched "scanless scanning" capabilities that use safe payloads to confirm whether vulnerabilities are exploitable, combined with an AI-generated patch reliability scoring algorithm. The TotalAI AI governance platform provides security teams with visibility into where AI models and GPUs are running, tests models for inappropriate outputs, and monitors data used for training. The new Risk Operations Center consolidates cloud risk, identity, misconfiguration, and vulnerability risks into a single normalized view, mapping them against business context and translating technical findings into financial language for boards.
