Samsung accelerates humanoid robot development with company-wide integration

Samsung Electronics is concentrating resources across the company to accelerate development of its proprietary humanoid robot. The company is integrating manufacturing technology, production operations data, software, funding, and semiconductor capabilities for the project. Beyond its Rainbow Robotics subsidiary, Samsung independently develops its own humanoid robot that has reached considerable levels of development. The company recently created the RX (Robotics eXperience) department under direct leadership of the president, and plans to establish a data factory in Gumi to train robots with real production operations data.
