Savers launches ThriftIQ AI platform to optimize product pricing across 58 pilot stores
Savers Value Village has introduced ThriftIQ, an artificial intelligence platform designed to optimize pricing across its apparel assortment. Developed in partnership with data consulting firm Kaizen Analytix, the platform has already been deployed in 58 pilot stores, pricing more than 25 million items with plans to double that figure by year-end.
The tool analyzes proprietary data accumulated over nearly two years to improve pricing consistency while reducing manual work. Savers processes over one billion pounds of secondhand goods annually and operates 375 stores. The company stated ThriftIQ aims to improve sell-through rates, increase basket sizes, and accelerate ramp-up for new locations, while maintaining average prices between 40-70% below traditional retail. The pricing is set once per item and does not change dynamically.
Savers plans to expand the platform across U.S. and Canadian locations through early 2028.
