Suno Studio 2.0 brings MIDI support and AI-generated effects
Suno released version 2.0 of its music composition studio, moving closer to a true Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). The highlight is MIDI support, a widely requested feature from users. Composers can send MIDI data to the AI assistant to generate audio, continue melodies, or create new sections based on what has already been composed.
The platform integrates an artificial intelligence assistant directly into the interface, capable of creating lyrics, generating instrument parts, and applying audio effects. One of the most innovative features allows users to create custom effects using AI and save them for reuse in future projects. Version 2.0 also includes a set of native effects, covering distortion, delay, reverb, compression, and equalization.
The software enables adjusting volume and panning of individual tracks as the composition progresses. The assistant can suggest automatic improvements, such as adding reverb or compression to a vocal track.
