Xiaomi has detailed the specifications for its next humanoid robot, which will be publicly displayed at the World Robot Conference 2026. The equipment will stand 1.70 meters tall, weigh 66 kilograms, and feature 66 degrees of freedom throughout its body, with half of this mobility concentrated in the hands. Still in prototype phase, the robot will be showcased first in China before moving to Europe. The company will not develop robots in isolation but will integrate the technology with its broader ecosystem of connected devices. The initial focus will be on intelligent manufacturing environments, where the robot has already completed a four-month testing period at Xiaomi's automotive factory. During this time, the equipment achieved a 98% success rate in tasks such as nut fastening and box folding. Xiaomi has also developed its own series of embodied artificial intelligence models to manage vision, natural language processing, and motion execution.
