On October 8, Odyssey announced the release of its Odyssey-3 series of foundation world models, with the Odyssey-3 Pro variant achieving a score of 66.1 in the Physics-IQ Verified benchmark, setting a new record. The foundation world model is designed to learn physical laws, dynamics, and causal relationships from vast visual data, enabling predictions of object movement and environmental changes. The Physics-IQ Verified test, developed by Anates Labs and DeepMind, evaluates models by comparing their simulated physics results with real-world experiments across disciplines like fluid dynamics and thermodynamics. Odyssey-3 offers two versions: a standard model balancing accuracy and cost, and a Pro version with enhanced physical prediction capabilities. The model uses a self-regressive diffusion transformer architecture to generate embodied environments, allowing users to interact with and observe real-time environmental responses. The preview version supports first-person and third-person navigation, as well as independent camera movement. In WorldMark assessments, Odyssey-3 ranked first in all three environment categories, scoring 77.2, 79.0, and 76.3 respectively.
