OpenAI and Oracle have announced an expanded partnership aimed at integrating Oracle applications and data into ChatGPT, while also enhancing Oracle's products with OpenAI's models. The collaboration seeks to empower businesses to leverage AI for core operations, application development, and security improvements. Oracle reported 130,000 active ChatGPT users and over 95,000 active Codex users, with its recruitment team utilizing ChatGPT Work to cut market research time from days to minutes. The partnership envisions an agent-ready enterprise where people and AI agents collaborate across business applications. Oracle is developing Oracle AI Workspace to enable users to describe tasks, access relevant information, and complete workflows within a unified environment. Additionally, Oracle is launching several new offerings, including Oracle AI Security Mesh, Oracle AI SMB Bundle, and Oracle App Composer, all built with OpenAI technologies. These tools aim to simplify app development, enhance security, and support small businesses through cloud infrastructure credits. Oracle customers in the U.S. can now access OpenAI APIs, Codex, and ChatGPT Work via Oracle Marketplace, using existing procurement processes and Universal Credits. The partnership underscores a shared vision to make Oracle software more accessible, manageable, and integrated with AI capabilities.
