OpenAI launches ChatGPT slides tool for team collaboration

OpenAI has launched the ChatGPT Slides tool, enabling users to create presentations based on conversations, uploaded files, or outlines, with the option to use built-in templates. The feature is now available to Pro, Business, and Enterprise users, who can access it by instructing the AI assistant to generate slides from files or conversations. Team collaboration is supported through real-time editing and feedback features, similar to Google Slides. Presentations can be exported to PowerPoint, Google Slides, or as PDFs. ChatGPT Plus users are currently excluded from using the tool, as it is part of the ChatGPT Space suite, which is restricted to higher-tier plans. IT Home noted that the tool is now accessible to eligible users, marking a significant expansion of OpenAI's productivity offerings. The release follows the earlier announcement of ChatGPT Space, which included Pages and Sheets tools, with Slides and Sheets slated for future rollout. OpenAI's official account on X highlighted the new capabilities, emphasizing the tool's potential for enhancing team workflows through AI-driven presentation creation and collaboration.
