QClaw, tencent's AI assistant for remote work, to cease operations in december

Tencent has announced that its QClaw AI assistant for remote work will stop operating on December 24, 2026. From the announcement date, new user registrations and subscription purchases will be halted. Existing users will still be able to use the service until the shutdown. Users will retain their accumulated points, which remain valid until their expiration dates. Those wishing to terminate active subscriptions before the shutdown can request a refund. A data backup and migration tool will be available until the shutdown, with all user data deleted by March 24, 2027. Users can migrate data to WorkBuddy, another Tencent AI assistant, through a two-step process. Migrating users will receive a 1,000-point bonus, and new WorkBuddy subscribers will get additional points based on their subscription tier. Tencent's QClaw, developed by the Computer Manager team, was launched in March 2026 and was reported to be moved to the WorkBuddy team in July 2026.
