Qoder launches glasses version for AI task execution
On September 3, 2026, Alibaba Cloud announced the release of the Qoder glasses version, which will initially integrate with the Qwen AI glasses and the Leci AI glasses. This new version allows users to interact with AI agents through voice commands without needing to use a phone or touch a screen. The glasses support full-duplex voice interaction, enabling users to delegate tasks, check progress, and add requirements in a natural conversation style.
The AI glasses also provide real-time alerts for high-risk operations and critical task points, pushing notifications to the user's peripheral vision. Users can confirm or approve these alerts via voice or a light touch on the glasses' temples. Additionally, the glasses' cameras can capture and analyze visual data, such as code errors and device statuses, allowing for immediate issue resolution without the need for manual steps.
Qoder's glasses version will work in tandem with its desktop and mobile versions, each handling specific roles in task execution. The glasses version will be available for a limited beta test, with full features launching at the 2026 Cloud栖 Conference.
