Qwen unveils n1 AI glasses with iris recognition innovation

At the 2026 Bund Tech Conference AI payment exhibition, Qwen introduced its new AI glasses, the N1, which are largely covered in black shielding material, obscuring detailed hardware specifications. According to Sina Technology, the N1 is the first product to introduce iris recognition with an error rate below one in a million. It can track eye movements to interact with checkout devices in complex environments and verify identity simply by wearing the glasses. Exhibition staff noted that the absence of a display may result in a lower price compared to the S1 model. Since the start of this year, Qwen has been expanding its AI hardware lineup, previously launching models like the S1 and G1. At the July World Artificial Intelligence Conference, Qwen showcased technologies such as full-duplex voice, eye movement tracking, and vital sign monitoring, which may be integrated into future products.
