Roblox AI game development surpasses 70,000 titles, over 80% of top 100 games use AI tools

Roblox has reported that over 70,000 games on its platform were created using AI tools, according to its 2026 fiscal third-quarter report. Among the top 100 most-played games in September, more than 80% utilized AI assistance in their development. The Build tool, launched in July 2026, allows creators to generate game content with AI, and over 500,000 users have accessed it. Two AI-generated games entered the top 20 for concurrent players during the quarter. Roblox plans to launch the Universal Player initiative, enabling developers to bring existing games from consoles, PCs, and mobile devices to its platform. In the third quarter of 2026, 26% of daily active users were aged 18 to 34, while 18% were under 18.
