Rohit Patel, former director of Meta's Superintelligence Labs, has left the company to launch Ndoc, an AI-native platform designed to replace Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Patel's new startup aims to unify fragmented workflows by integrating data analysis, document creation, and collaboration in a single workspace. Ndoc features three main tabs—Stage, Narrative, and Model—that allow users to create presentations, analyze data, and store scripts. Patel emphasized transparency, enabling users to verify AI-generated content through accessible Python scripts. He also plans to open-source the .ndoc.html format to foster broader adoption. Ndoc is currently in an enterprise pilot and will soon release a beta version, with a full launch planned for next year. Patel believes rapid execution is key, stating, 'Execution is extremely cheap... so go execute on a suboptimal plan and worry about it later.'
