Rokid unveils new AI glasses at digital trade fair

Rokid, a Chinese AI company, announced on September 20 that its next-generation AI glasses will be unveiled on September 24 at 14:00 during the fifth Global Digital Trade Expo in Hangzhou, China. The event's slogan, 'Less tool. More human,' emphasizes the product's focus on enhancing human senses rather than serving as a tool. The initial version of Rokid's AI glasses was based on Qualcomm's AR1 SoC and used a dual-display system combining Micro LED and diffraction light waveguide technology. It featured a resolution of 480×640, brightness of 1500nits, a field of view of 30°, and a 3024×4032 camera. The device also included two speakers and four microphones.
