Saudi arabia's HUMAIN launches advanced arabic language model humain-m3

On September 3, 2026, Saudi Arabia's HUMAIN, a subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund (PIF), unveiled its latest Arabic language model, humain-m3. The model was developed by MiniMax under a trust arrangement. humain-m3 is built on MiniMax's MiniMax-M3 and was pre-trained on T-level Arabic native text tokens. It achieved the highest average score among tested advanced models in seven public Arabic benchmarks. The model is initially available as a research and evaluation preview on HUMAIN Node, with an open-weight version planned for release. HUMAIN emphasized the underrepresentation of Arabic in AI and aims to address this through humain-m3. The platform is designed to empower developers, researchers, and innovators to experiment, build upon, and create next-generation Arabic AI experiences.
