Snapchat introduces ai-powered features in lens+ subscription

Snapchat has launched new AI-driven features within its Lens+ subscription service, enhancing user interaction through generative AI tools. The Lens+ subscription, introduced in June 2025, costs $7.99 per month, equivalent to approximately 53.6 yuan. It offers exclusive filters and additional AI capabilities beyond the standard Snapchat+ subscription. Among the new features, users can now convert text messages into original short songs by selecting a music style and using the 'Create Song' function. The AI-generated audio can be previewed before sending. Additionally, the AI Remix feature allows users to rework friends' Snap content with custom effects. The service also includes AI-enhanced fonts for text with various textures and the ability to generate images and convert photos into 5-second videos. Snap warns that AI features consume significant server resources, with users receiving a monthly AI generation quota. Once the quota is exhausted, users must wait until the next billing cycle to continue using AI tools.
