Supermicro has started shipping the NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 rack system, a high-performance computing solution designed for data centers. The system is part of a comprehensive DCBBS (Data Center Building Block Solution) that includes liquid-cooled compute racks, a 1.8MW inline CDU, optional rear-door heat exchangers, and network integration based on NVIDIA's reference architecture.
The Vera Rubin NVL72 DCBBS supports power ranges from 5MW to GW levels, with each scalable unit covering 16 compute racks. It provides 1,152 Rubin GPUs, 331TB of HBM4 memory, and integrated cooling, power, storage, and networking infrastructure. This system is tailored for large-scale data center deployments requiring high computational power and efficient thermal management.
