Tencent adjusts free access to hy4 preview AI model in workbuddy

Tencent WorkBuddy announced on September 9, 2026, that the free access to the Hy4 preview AI model is nearing its end and will expire on September 10, 2026, at 23:59. From September 11 to October 10, adjustments will be made to the free access policy. New users registering during this period or existing users who have not yet experienced Hy4 preview will receive a 14-day free quota if they activate the model for the first time before October 10, 2026, at 23:59. Existing users will continue to have free access during off-peak hours (23:00 to 8:00) but will use积分 otherwise. Hy4 preview, a large language model without multimodal capabilities, will switch to a multimodal model for video and image tasks, which will consume积分 normally. Tencent also mentioned that due to high demand, daily free quotas are distributed fairly, and users may face queuing during peak times with reset times indicated on the page.
