Tencent launches cross-application AI collaboration system buddy one
On October 29, 2026, during the Tencent Global Digital Ecosystem Conference, Tencent unveiled Buddy One, a cross-application AI collaboration system aimed at enhancing user experience across its office productivity tools. The system integrates Tencent Document, Tencent Meeting, Tencent Cloud Storage, and ima, sharing the WorkBuddy Agent foundation and unifying account and reward systems. Users can access Buddy One by updating WorkBuddy to version 5.9.0 or later and linking their accounts. The system eliminates the need for repeated authorizations and manual copying, allowing WorkBuddy to search and synthesize content from authorized applications. Tencent also introduced a VIP membership for Buddy One, priced at 700 yuan per month, offering premium features across multiple platforms.
The Buddy One integration enables seamless content retrieval and context-aware responses, with sources clearly marked. Users benefit from shared credits and storage space, with a 1TB capacity available across platforms. The system aims to streamline workflows by centralizing access to Tencent’s suite of productivity tools, enhancing efficiency and collaboration among users.
