Tencent's chatterfly expands voice input capabilities with ai-powered features

Tencent is testing an AI-native voice and expression tool called ChatterFly, which is available for macOS and Windows desktop clients. The tool, which may be known as 'Baoyuan Input Method,' allows users to perform voice input by pressing or holding the Fn key. It also supports AI commands such as 'write a weekly report' or 'generate development prompts.' The tool integrates input statistics, personal vocabulary, and voice history, with top data showing total word count, voice ratio, and time saved. ChatterFly's Skills module includes features like meeting minutes, work reports, and email polishing. It can automatically divide tasks such as arranging dinner into time, location, and follow-up items. The tool also supports personal vocabulary, allowing users to add proper nouns and migrate Sogou vocabulary with authorization. However, words containing numbers or symbols may not work in pinyin mode. iOS and Android versions are marked as 'Coming Soon.'
