Tencent's workbuddy enhances ppt creation with advanced editing and customization features

On September 14, Tencent WorkBuddy announced an upgrade to its PPT generation capabilities, allowing users to create a draft with a single sentence and continue editing the original file without redoing the entire presentation. The update enables users to generate a PPT by typing 'help me generate a PPT' in the chat box or using the '/tencent-pptx' command. The system now supports generating content even without complete materials, by asking about the audience, scenario, and goal, and building a structure based on 'problem - argument - conclusion - implementation'. The new version also enhances visual design, adapting layouts and color schemes to different scenarios such as defense, pitch, government affairs, and technology reports. It allows users to upload documents like research reports, PDFs, or Word files, which it can compress, extract key conclusions, convert data into charts, and generate speaking notes. Users can also retain template themes, fonts, and structures while replacing content. The revision stage supports 'human-machine dual writing,' enabling users to modify slides individually without affecting others, and export to .pptx files for further editing or collaboration.
