Tencent's WorkBuddy integrates with enterprise wechat, enhancing AI collaboration in workflows

On October 14, 2026, Tencent announced the deep integration of WorkBuddy with Enterprise WeChat, enabling businesses to leverage AI-driven task execution. The integration allows WorkBuddy to access ten enterprise-authorized capabilities, including messages, documents, and meetings, and adds it to the Enterprise WeChat contact list as a chatbot. Verified enterprises can use this feature after upgrading to WorkBuddy version 5.8.0 or higher and Enterprise WeChat version 5.0.12 or higher, with administrator approval. WorkBuddy now categorizes unread messages and emails into three types, summarizes action items, and identifies online documents, schedules, and to-do lists. Users can forward messages to WorkBuddy for automated processing, with options to reference micro-drive files or issue commands for message sharing. The AI bot synchronizes context between the app and desktop, allowing seamless conversation switching and automated task execution. Enterprise WeChat serves over 14 million real enterprises and 750 million WeChat users. This update connects Tencent’s connectivity with WorkBuddy’s task execution, avoiding platform switching or data migration. AI agents are increasingly embedded into office workflows, enhancing productivity and collaboration.
