Terminal X, an investment technology firm, has developed an AI system that aligns with senior investors' judgment at an 88.6% accuracy rate using GPT-6.1 Sol. The system, called Capital Memory, helps firms retain institutional knowledge by encoding investment processes into AI agents. These agents, powered by OpenAI models, analyze investment decisions and workflows, catching 25% more deviations from a fund’s mandate compared to the next-best model. Ken Lee, Terminal X’s CTO, noted that the system learns from corrections, improving over time. One private equity firm reported $2.4 million in annualized savings from automated workflows. The Eval Agent, which grades AI outputs against a 54-criterion rubric, ensures alignment with firm standards. Terminal X has built 1,700 firm Memories and executed over 1 million workflows. Hyun, CEO of Terminal X, emphasized that firms winning the next decade will own their judgment as data, which Terminal X aims to measure and reuse.
