Tesla unveils major software update with enhanced voice assistant and numerous feature improvements

Tesla has launched the 2026.26.200.11 software update, expanding the Doubao large model voice assistant to more vehicle models. This feature, available through the premium in-car entertainment service, offers multiple voice tones and character options for users. The update also includes enhancements to pet mode, blind spot warning, and door opening warning functions. Navigation now features a 'Familiar Route' option that adapts to daily driving habits, while the 'Trip' feature has been relocated to the 'Energy' app with improved range estimates that consider battery aging. Additional updates include permanent local storage for dash cam videos, synchronized mobile phone integration for the whiteboard, and rear screen navigation synchronization. The browser now supports interior camera and microphone use while parked, and auxiliary driving visualization offers customization. A new parental control feature and optimized Apple Music operations have also been introduced. Traction control now has three new modes, and several security vulnerabilities have been addressed in this update.
