TypeSafe ai's jev model handles 1 trillion tokens daily, sparks new decision AI trend
TypeSafe AI's Jev, a decision-focused AI model launched on September 15, has reached a daily token processing capacity of 1 trillion, according to CEO Diogo Almeida.
The model, which does not generate text but instead classifies inputs into predefined outputs, is designed for automation and has attracted interest from major firms, with about 25% of Fortune 500 companies using it.
Almeida, a former OpenAI researcher, claims Jev offers faster, cheaper, and more predictable results than traditional large language models. OpenAI, Databricks, and Cloudflare have since released similar tools, signaling the emergence of a new category of decision AI models.
Almeida expects Jev to lead discussions on alternatives to large language models, as investors eye a potential $10 billion funding round for TypeSafe, with some valuing the company over $100 billion.
