UnifoLM-WLA-1.0 sets new standards in open-source humanoid robot models
On September 10, 2026, UT Robotics announced the full open-sourcing of its UnifoLM-WLA-1.0 embodied base model, which has set new benchmarks in multiple open-source model evaluations. The model is capable of managing both desktop and full-body movement tasks, demonstrating cross-task and cross-end-effector generalization.
UnifoLM-WLA-1.0 is UT Robotics' latest general-purpose humanoid robot base model, leveraging large-scale multimodal perception and understanding data. It integrates a world model centered on interaction, significantly enhancing spatial perception and understanding capabilities. The model outperforms domestic and international open-source models in several embodied reasoning evaluations and is competitive with leading closed-source models. Real-world testing showed the model can handle 64 tasks, covering both desktop operations and full-body movement, with cross-task and cross-end-effector generalization capabilities.
