Wechat pay launches ai-specific card with integration of DeepSeek harness and OpenClaw

On August 31, 2026, WeChat Pay announced the release of its AI-specific card, expanding support to include DeepSeek Harness and OpenClaw. This update allows users to experience a new consumption process, from intelligent dialogue recommendations to payment, by simply stating their needs in a conversation. The AI-specific card currently supports over 700 paid skills on Skillhub, with plans to expand further. Users can install the WeChat Pay AI plugin via npx -y @tenpay/weixinpay-ai-installer. Binding the card requires either generating a link through Skillhub or using the command 'help me bind a WeChat Pay AI-specific card.' According to a previous report by IT Home, WeChat Pay launched its AI-specific card on June 17, 2026. Zhang Jun, Tencent's PR Director, described the card's functionality as a tool for users to authorize AI agents to make purchases within a specified budget, ensuring security through account isolation and user confirmation for each transaction.
