Wonderful's valuation surpasses $5 billion following a $550 million funding round

Israeli-Dutch AI startup Wonderful has secured $550 million in Series C funding, boosting its valuation to $5 billion. This marks more than double the $2 billion valuation it held six months ago. Insight Partners led the round, with Index Ventures, IVP, Vine Ventures, 9Yards, Bessemer Venture Partners, and Salesforce participating. Founded in early 2025, the company has rapidly expanded, initially focusing on customer service AI platforms in non-English-speaking markets. It now operates in over 35 countries. Wonderful has evolved its core offering to a platform called 'Wonderful AI OS,' which integrates AI applications with companies' data and existing systems. Roey Lalazar, CTO and co-founder, stated that customers can adopt parts of the platform, integrate them with existing systems, and retain ownership of their work. The company continues to rely on forward-deployed engineers to embed its products quickly. The funds will be used to accelerate product development, expand its FDE teams, and meet growing demand. Salesforce is investing in the company for the first time in this round.
