xAI introduces team bots: AI collaborators enhancing workflows across industries

xAI has launched Team Bots, AI agents known as Grok, designed to work alongside teams and learn with them. These bots are now in public beta, available in Teams and Enterprise plans. They integrate context, plugins, credentials, and memory to function as shared intelligent agents. Granting them access to files, applications, and expertise allows teams to collaborate based on the same context while maintaining private conversations. Team Bots have been deployed across various departments, including sales, product engineering, and marketing. At Harper Insurance, a Team Bot automated policy recovery processes, recovering over $120,000 in just 24 hours. In product and engineering, bots track decisions, sort bugs, and initiate fixes, while marketing bots review content and manage SEO updates. A Data Bot, built over two years, provides analytics insights to the entire company, leveraging a library of 45,000+ tables.
